A. RSS is a popular means of sharing content, generally news headlines (also referred to as news feeds), amongst web sites. You can select specific incoming news feeds to display within your journals from the wide selection of news sites selected for openZpace users. You can even add comments to the news items you have chosen to post. To review the selection available, click on 'News' in the Quick Menu.
Conversely, you can provide the content of your own site as an RSS compatible news feed so that other sites interested in what you and your friends publish, can show your content as a news feed on their site. You can control the various characteristics of the news feed you provide to others by altering the 'Syndication settings' in the 'Settings' menu.
News syndication is a flexible and very powerful feature of openZpace that some web content aggregators make significant charges to provide.
