A. Yes. A major difference between openZpace and other personal publishing services is the flexibility it offers in allowing others, whether friends and family or complete strangers, to get involved with your site. Every openZpace site supports the following 'Roles':

Owner

The owner of the site always has full access to all the capabilities offered by their account. In addition to the capabilities described below, the site owner has access to a range of administrative functions.

Anonymous

An anonymous user is anyone who is not required to log onto the site with a username and password. Anonymous users can generally only view content. Additionally, if you enable the 'Anonymous comments' option, these users can post comments to your site. However, these comments remain unpublished until approved (typically by the site owner).

Member

A Member is someone who has been given a Member account by the site owner. When logged on, Members can view content to which they have been given access and create and publish comments without the need for approval.

Friend

A Friend is someone who has been given a Friend account by the site owner. When logged on, Friends have the similar rights to Members. Additionally Friends can create and manage items of content in the areas to which they have access. Thus, if you enable the creation of journals for Friends, for example, they will also be able to maintain a personal journal of their own within your site.
