A. Yes. There are several different ways of doing this, all of which are easy to use.

Posting by Text (SMS), Picture message (MMS) and by Email.
Validating your mobile number
The first thing to do is to validate your mobile number so that posts from your mobile will be accepted. To do this:
- Select the 'Users' item from the main menu on your site.
- Click on your User name to show your details.
- If your mobile number has not been set or is not shown as validated, click on the 'edit' link at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your mobile number as indicated and submit your details.
- Once a mobile number has been entered, the option will appear to 'Request PIN Code'. Click this option and a PIN code will be sent to your mobile by SMS. When it arrives, simply enter the number in the 'PIN code' box and your mobile will be validated.
Posting by SMS
SMS or text messages are widely used by mobile phone users to keep in touch. You can post a journal to your site by sending an ordinary text message from your phone. To do this you simply send a Text to +447766404142 with two special keywords at the start of the message. These are 'mm 9999' where 9999 is your account id as shown in the email sent to your when you started your openZpace account. The remainder of the message (following the space after your account id) will appear automatically as a Journal on your site.
Tip: You may want to save a message template containing the SMS keywords so that you only have to type them once. Saving the number to which you send text messages in your phonebook is also more convenient.
Creating your Mobile Media Mailbox
Posts by MMS or email are handled by a special Mobile Media email account at your site. The address is "mm@your-account.openzpace.com". To enable your Mobile Media Mailbox:
- Select the 'Settings' item from your main menu and goto the 'Messaging' category.
- At the Mobile Media mailbox item, select your username and click the 'Save All' button and the mailbox will be automatically created.
- You can also configure how messages arriving in the mailbox are handled - whether they are posted automatically, or (as a security measure) only once you've checked them. Note that an 'external' mail address is any email address not associated with your openZpace account.
Tip: While you're setting up the Mobile Media mailbox, you can also download a vCard (address book item) containing full details of your Mobile Media account.
Posting by email
You can post a Journal, Photo or File to your site directly from your phone by sending the item as an email or attached to an email. You simply address the email to your Mobile Media account "mm@your-account.openzpace.com". The message will be processed and (depending on how you've setup your Mobile Media mailbox) will appear automatically as a post on your site.
Posting by email works from any email client. If your mobile phone supports email, you will need to set up an email account on your phone. Read the manual that was delivered with your phone if you haven't yet done this.
Posting by MMS
MMS messages are becoming popular amongst phone users with more up-to-date mobile phones. They can send pictures they take, appending short captions, to friends and colleagues. You can post a photo (with a caption) to your site by sending an MMS. Take a photo in the normal way and select to send this via MMS. All you need to do is send the MMS to your Mobile Media Mailbox "mm@your-account.openzpace.com"
Tip: Your Mobile Media Mailbox handles posting by MMS and Email in the same way but (depending on your Mobile Network and price plan) the relative cost of a post by MMS as opposed to Email can vary a lot.
